Missy Mila Volume 2 #Review #Giveaway

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

My kids and I got the chance to review Missy Mila Twisted Tales Volume 1. I have 5 kids ages 4, 5, 10,12, and 13. The only one that didn't stick around through the whole dvd was the oldest. He is not much into fairy tales and tall tales anymore. The other kids enjoyed it and my 2 daughters (4 and 10) have watched it a few times. My youngest loves to watch it to go to bed. I am definitely going to be adding Volume 2 to the collection soon. I think the stories are a great way to get kids to keep traditions going and keep older stories going. I think its a great way for kids to spend time and to learn about traditional tall tales. It held their attention and that is very important!!!

In "The Houses of Pig Brothers" which I assumed was based off the Three Little Pigs, there is no big bad wolf, but a bull. The three brothers build their houses, similar to the original, made of wood and straw and break. The bull tries to knock over the houses and eventually gives up and attempts the chimney. I don't want to give away the ending so you will have to watch to finish the tale........

Missy Mila is all about a little 8 year old girl who is full of energy and quirkiness. She is very much a tomboy and loves to tell traditional stories but with her own twist.
Kids are able to use their imagination along with Missy Mila in these awesome tales. Mila has plenty of questions and games.

Traditional tales are timeless stories that everyone has loved, generation after generation. Far from the old fashinoned cliches, the series of Missy Mila: Twisted Tales revamps the cultural heritage through the imagination and spontaneity of a present day little girl. Mila's stories are full of spicy anachronisms and offbeat reinterpretations. Don't be surprised if you see a prince applying hair gel before going off to save a princess.
