Sunday at Magic Kingdom
All the kids slept in this morning but once everyone was awake and had late breakfast we decided to head on over to Disney for the day. Wasn't sure what park we were going to because it was kind of late when we left and usually Magic Kingdom fills up fairly quickly. We got there around 3:30 and it was not too bad at all. It was a little overcast so it was hot but not crazy hot, which was nice.
We usually take the Monorail over and the Ferry back but today we are doing things opposite. There were maybe 15 people on the Ferry so it looked like a better option.
Cinderellas Castle with a perfect blue skied background.
Em wanted to ride the Tea Cups, she loves to spin.
Little miss got to meet Ariel this time, last time we missed her but we got to meet Belle.
She wants to be a Mermaid when she is older.
Talking about found treasures.
It was a little hot so the kids ran through the water for a few minutes.
Great way to cool off.
From Walt Disney Steam Train Station on Main Street.
Rainy clouds coming back, over Slash Mountain.
Cinderellas Castle from Swiss Family Robinson Tree House.
Another very successful roadtrip to Disney. We love being passholders and being able to take our time, ride different things each time versus squeezing everything in 1 or 2 trips.
We'll be back in Disney in August and I am literally counting the days (80 to be exact!)!!
ReplyDeleteWe are taking the summer off but will be back there once school goes back. We like to travel during the school seasons. Avoid too much crowding.
DeleteWe are lucky enough that we have been visiting once a year for the past several years. I can't imagine being able to road trip over! Lucky!!
ReplyDeleteSame here. We are in Massachusetts, so a road trip would take us 24 hours - each way. No thanks ;)
DeleteWe are just over an hour. I have contemplated moving to Orlando but I dont like being landlocked so we are over by the beach.
DeleteI haven't been there for over 10 years! My husband is dying to go. He's such a kid.
ReplyDeleteI am hoping that I win a trip to Disneyland or someone decides to be extra generous because it has always been a childhood dream of mine to visit Disney! Glad you had fun!
ReplyDeleteI lvoe the Magic Kingdom. I am all about The Flight Of Peter Pan.
ReplyDeleteThat was always my moms favorite ride. It is still there, we go on it when the line is not 80+ minutes, which seems to be rare lately.
DeleteMy girls love visiting Ariel, it is there favorite part of the trip any time we go to DIsney. Looks like you had a blast!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a fun roadtrip! We need to go back to Disneyland. It's so interesting that the Florida park has a covering over the teacups - they are under a few trees in the CA park. :)
ReplyDeleteWe love Magic Kingdom and the teacups are my youngest favorite ride too. We're heading back there again next summer and we can't wait.
ReplyDeleteIt looks and sounds like you guys have a great time. We have never been but our kids aren't really interested in Disney. They would rather go on a cruise, LOL.
ReplyDeleteLove this. The Magic Kingdom is one of my fav parks in Disney World. We went in October, the weather was perfect.
ReplyDeleteI want to go back to Disney World so much. I really didn't get to see it all and I want to see more!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait until I can bring my kids to Disney! It is one of my favorite places to visit!
ReplyDeleteGlad that you and your family had great time. I wish I could just hop and visit Disney! What a dream to visit Disney and explore this magical place.
ReplyDeleteI love Disney!! I would love to be a passholder, what an amazing way to be able to spend weekends.

ReplyDeleteHow fun! I can't wait to take my son - hopefully in the next year or tow.
ReplyDeleteLook at all the Disney fun! I cant wait to go I wanna take a selfie with Ariel
ReplyDeleteWe have so many wonderful family memories from the Magic Kingdom. It was easy when you lived only 15 minutes away.
ReplyDeleteI miss living that close to Disney. We used to go almost every day of the week. After school got out for the day, we'd hit the water park.
ReplyDeleteOh, I would love to bring my son here. He will surely enjoy Magic Kingdom. Great pictures.
ReplyDeleteSounds like loads of fun for the entire family....I am sure the kids had a fabulous time and the adults as well
ReplyDeleteDisney is so magical! I love that you weren't swarmed by the crowds. Our last trip was 5 years ago so we are about due for another one.
ReplyDeleteMagic Kingdom is just so magical and inspiring! Looks like your family had a fantastic time. Can't wait to visit again!
ReplyDeleteThe teacups look like a blast. I need to go there one day!
ReplyDeleteI have been itching to visit Disney World with the family:) My kids are 11 & 15 but they still love going:)
ReplyDeleteWe love Magic Kingdom. We get there early in the morning, but afternoons are usually good too as many leave the park for a break.
ReplyDeleteAww its so great that she got to meet Ariel! I'm glad your kids had such a fun time there.
ReplyDeleteI get so excited when I read this because we are taking our 4 year old. I am so excited because the look on his face will be priceless!
ReplyDeleteHow fun to be close enough to make a day trip of Disney! We just got back from Disneyland - 8 hour drive each way for us, so we have to make a vacation of it :) So fun though
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a lot of fun! I can't wait to take my kids to Magic Kingdom some day. I loved it as a kid.
