About Me
HELLO! Thanks for stopping by Aimless Moments.
Here is a little about the blog.....
Starting out I wasn't really sure what direction I wanted to go, honestly I still don't know. It's pretty much just about me, my life, my family, and all the aimless things we do. Travel. Photography. Crafts. Giveaways. Cooking. Reviews. Parenting. Day to day life.....
So here is a little about me, the crazy behind the blog!
First I am a stay at home mom to 5 (awesome) kids. They are Glenn (12), Ben (11), Tierney (9), Garrett (5) and Emmaleigh (3). I also have 5 bonus kids that come and go regularly.
We currently have 2 puppies, well they aren't really puppies but 1 we call Puppy and the other is Pixie. Pixie we adopted not too long ago and the Puppy we had gotten a couple years ago from an abandoned house. We have 2 cats. 1 is orange and white and has 6 toes and the other is a tortie we rescued. And an endless amount of other creatures coming and going. The boys love to bring things into the house all the time.....frogs, fish, lizards, snakes, bugs, birds, rocks, you name it.
We live in Florida, Tampa actually. I was born and raised in Palm Beach Gardens. I have been told many times I have a gypsy heart. I am so up in the air with where I want myself and my family to settle down...in the city or in the country?!?! Tough decision.
I love to take pictures of anything and everything, especially my kids and things we do, places we go. I like to spend time with my kids, we do just about everything together. I don't have "me time" at all, I figure I will get plenty of that once they are all older and doing their own thing so I don't really complain or get bothered by it.
I love to drive. I love to wander around aimlessly in the Durango with the kids looking for and finding new places to go and things to do. Beaches, parks, events, museums, whatever. We like arts and crafts and usually the kids and I are doing something crafty at any given time.
We homeschool and public school. The homeschool option we choose was through Florida Virtual through Connections Academy just because I did not have to worry about what they were and were not learning.
I have a serious (un diagnosed) case of ADD so I can sometimes be all over. My mind wanders and is constantly going, and that is where the blog started. You can also find me locally at events and different family friendly activities.
... so please feel free to follow along...
