The Children’s Place is closing some of their stores. We shop there often. I can usually find jeans there that fit Garrett. He is tall and thin so finding him a good pair can be a challenge. So far I have not seen anything about them completely going out of business so hopefully they will stay available online.
The children’s clothing retailer closed 125 stores in 2016 and plans to close 200 more in 2017. It operates about 1,000 stores throughout the U.S.

So what does this mean? They could end up closing more then 200 stores. This could be good news for savvy shoppers. They are likely going to liquidate current merchandise in stores that are going out of business. That means you will see 50% to 90% off sales. I highly suggest calling you local store and asking them if they are closing in 2017. Sometimes employees are advised not to let anyone know they are closing until its 100% sure (even though they are likely going to close) so I suggest checking your local store often.
