Why cervical mucus is important
I personally have not had issues with being able to conceive but I do have friends and family that have. I have been there through the ups and downs of them trying and the emotional roller-coaster it can be. Knowing your body and how it works is crucial in the conceiving process. Knowing what your body is trying to tell you is also key!
Being able to know when you are ovulating is the best way to get more chances of conceiving. There are several ways to know when you are ovulating. If you notice, your cervical mucus changes from time to time. They vary from thick white, thick and clear white combined, brownish, yellowish and clear white. Did you know that just by checking your cervical mucus, you’ll be able to know if you are ovulating or not? What we are looking for is an “egg white” cervical mucus, called EWCM according to www.pregnancytips.org. This cervical mucus is stretchy and clear white. Clear cervical mucus helps the sperm get to the egg faster. That is why the body is instinctual enough to release an egg-white cervical mucus during ovulation for more chances of conceiving. Using your cervical mucus to check for ovulation is easy and inexpensive since you don’t need to use any tool for it.
Again, knowing your body is key!
