Add a Little Fun to Your Water With SweetLeaf Water Drops!
We are in the middle of summer and drinking water is a must! Keeping the kids hydrated while we are spending days upon summer days on the beach is important. The kids love water but sometimes get bored with plain stuff. SweetLeaf Water Drops are a new way to add a little fun and flavor!
So many drinks are full of sugar and yuck but these are an all natural, sugar free, and gluten-free water enhancer. There are no artificial ingredients which makes this the simple thing to give some of the kids that come over. I don't have to worry about giving the kids too much sugar with these and they are also zero calories/zero carbohydrates.
They come in 4 delicious flavors:
Peach Mango, Lemon Lime, Strawberry Kiwi, and Raspberry Lemonade.
The kids loved being able to mix up the flavors. Tierneys favorite was the Strawberry Kiwi with a few Lemon Lime Ice Cubes. Ben liked mixing the Lemon Lime with sparkling water because it tasted similar to Sprite. We made popsicles with the drops and they were a very good option to all the other sugar pops we have in the freezer. Because each bottle offers 32 servings we were able to make about 3 weeks worth of popsicles. There are so many options for mixing and making ice cubes, ice pops, and even adding some to muffin mixes! (recipe to come soon!)
I found this Watermelon Cooler recipe on the SweetLeaf site and got the idea to try some sparkling water with the Strawberry Kiwi drops and it was DELICIOUS!
The original recipe can be found over on SweetLeaf, along with New York Cheesecake, Sugar Free Frozen Coconut Daiquiri (will try soon), and Double Chocolate Peanut Butter Popsicles.
Our Recipe:
8oz sparkling water
2-3 squirts of Strawberry Kiwi Water Drops
Ice
Directions:
Add Strawberry Kiwi Water Drops. Fill glass with ice and sparkling water. Stir. ENJOY!

ReplyDeleteAll we drink is water and surprisingly we have yet to introduce our children to flavored water. I don't know much about this product, but I will be on the look out....maybe my kids would like a change up here and there.

ReplyDeleteI really like the option of making something flavored without adding calories. This is the way to go!
ReplyDeleteI've never really been a fan of water flavorings mostly because of the sugar substitutes. I also just love the (non?) taste of water. Haha. But this looks interesting! I might give it a try!
