New Adventures at Zoo Boo Kids {family fun}

If you are looking for something fun to do with the kids then Lowry Park Zoo is the place to be. They just recently renovated the Wallaroo Station and we were out there in June to review it so I, without hesitation, took the opportunity to review the new schedule and activities for Zoo Boo. In years prior Zoo Boo started a little later in the day and was more scary than fun. This year they changed things up and swapped out the haunted houses for a maze and candy stations. Also it was held during the daytime so less scare, which is great for younger kids. There are alot of Halloween activities for adults and older kids so I was kind of happy with the change up.

When you enter the zoo, kids are given a trick or treat bag and a map that shows where all the candy stations are located as well as the different activities and good photo opps are.

Since Zoo Boo Kids is open during normal zoo hours, the animal exhibits are all open. This makes it a great way to spend the day. The normal zoo rides are also open.

Between the zoo rides, animals, and holiday activities you can easily spend the whole day there. While we were kind of hoping Zoo Boo was like it had been prior years it was definitely worth it and we will be going back again.

ZooBoo Kids is free with your paid admission or with Zoo Membership and activities start at 1pm and last to 7pm. Games do cost extra but most are $1/2 and everyone wins a prize at most.

Zoo Boo runs on October 10-11, 17-18, 23-26, 30-31 and Nov. 1
For ages 3-11.
Snacks and drinks are available throughout the park.
