Tis The Season - With Chex Mix Party Mix

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Chex™. The opinions and text are all mine.

Tis the season! For decorating, baking, and entertaining!

What better way to celebrate the holidays than with big bowls of Chex Mix Muddy Buddies, Puppy Chow, Party Mix or whatever you call it. We all know the delicious taste of crunchy Chex cereal mixed in with our favorite sweet and savory goodies. It is something we look forward to making year after year.

Every year we mix up different varieties of this sweet treat. This year we are making a batch -or two- with Chocolate Peanut Butter Cheerios
CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER CHEERIOS! Remember those because they are only available for a limited time at Publix.

So lets get this family fun started.
Ingredients:
9 cups Rice Chex or Corn Chex Cereal
1 cup Nestlé® semisweet chocolate chips*
½ cup Skippy® Creamy peanut butter*
¼ cup butter
1 teaspoon McCormick® Pure Vanilla*
1 ½ cups powdered sugar
3 cups Chocolate and Peanut Butter Cheerios cereal
32 miniature peanut butter cups, unwrapped, cut in half
1 cup Planters® salted cocktail peanuts*·

Ziploc® 2-4 count containers* -these are optional but we will tell you later whey we grabbed these.
Measure, melt, and mix ingredients as shown and ENJOY! Or share.

Now onto the sharing. The kids love to sneak out after the sun goes down and Jingle friends and family. If you are unfamiliar with You've Been Jingled it is simply putting together a few holiday treats/gifts and leaving them for others. You can find plenty of variations and inspiration on Pinterest. We are using the gold Ziploc containers we found while out shopping for the Muddy Buddy ingredients and will be out delivering goodies tonight!

To get mixing up this years recipe, head on out to Publix (store locator) and grab your box(es) of Chocolate Peanut Butter Cheerios along with everything else you need for Peanut Butter Cheerios Chex Muddy Buddy Party Mix.
