Playin in the Park -Fit Kids Playground #Event

BUBBLES!

Playin in the Park -hosted by Fit Kids Playground

Fruit Kabobs! Best idea ever! Kind
The first Tuesday of every month the Fit Kids Playground hosts an event called Playin in the Park. Families get together and go downtown to Curtis Hixon Park, from what I understand it is usually between 2pm and 6pm. The event is free and there are different companies and organizations out there that allow the kids to play, be active, and possibly get interested in some new sport or activity.  We have gone 2 times now and will hopefully make it every month. I love to find things for all of us to do together and because they are such different ages this event is for all of them (ages 3, 5, 9, 11, and 12). Sponsors like Humana are usually there with bottled water and toys (jump ropes and Frisbees ), the crew from Airheads has been out there and had the kids running and playing kickball and with hula hoops. It is a great way to spend a few hours outside just playing and being a kid. I think the favorites were the most simple things this time, like Tug a war and Sack races.
Thanks! Busch Gardens for some awesome glasses.

Ben & Jerrys was there with some yummy frozen yogurt!!

Tampa Bay Moms Blog was out with tiles to color.
