Last week, Tierney got to learn the basics of some hand sewing. She learned about threading different needles and different threads. She also did some practice on sewing buttons and different kinds. I really wasn't quite sure she would like it, or want to continue, but we just got finished with week 2 and she is loving it. Hopefully this will be something she sticks with! This week Tierney learned how to make a mini needle book from felt type fabric and webbing. She got most of it done at the shop but finished the rest once she was home. After the class we stopped by Joann's to stock up on some fabric and new scissors, as well as many other project supplies.
