Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day Dish Soap #Review

"Uncomplicated products for a clean and happy home"

I received a bottle of Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day Liquid Dish Soap in the Lavender scent a couple weeks ago. The bottle was 16oz so I figured it would not last very long at all. I am used to buying larger bottles of soap considering I hand wash most of the dishes and there are 7 of us living here. We go through a good amount of dish detergent.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           

Scent: First off, I am a sucker for smelly stuff and the first thing I do is smell things before I buy them. I opened the bottle to smell it first. It was strong but I like strong scents. I like smells that linger for a good amount of time. As I said, I got the Lavender scent and it does smell like it should. There is a little element of 'soap' scent to it but the floral overpowers it just enough. I have read/heard some reviews about the product being too strong and it lingering too much but I think that all depends on what your preference is.            

Suds: What is soap with suds! I put a few drops into the sink and then added the water and there as a good amount of bubbles. I did leave a sink full sit a few times and the suds were still there after a few hours. As was the scent. 

Cleanliness: "...rich, thick, and makes grease disappear like nobody's business." Is the claim for the Lavender Dish Soap and honestly I can say I agree. It does pretty much what it says. Does rinse clean and does cut grease. 

Overall: I was satisfied with the product. I was satisfied with the cleanliness as well as the scent. I am actually going to order something in the Lemon scent because I love lemon!
