NEW ARM & HAMMER™ CLUMP & SEAL™ Cat Litter #Review

Tierney has 2 cats and she wants to start a pet sitting business so when I was offered the opportunity to try the new ARM & HAMMER™ CLUMP & SEAL™ Cat Litter I was all for it. Litter boxes are the worst and even though I don't have to clean them I don't like the smell and the mess that comes with.
I received the package, Tierney and I went to Walmart to pick up the box and had no trouble finding it. The colors of the boxes are actually easy to spot, there is a black one with blue and a black with red. The one with blue is fresh home and red is for multi cats. We grabbed the multi cats to see how well it would work.

Tierney came home and switched out the litter that night. We only use one box since there are only 2 cats. So the claim is "7 day odor free."

From the site:  The 7 features of the litter that guarantees 7 day odor free:

  1. Seals - moisture activated micro granules form a tight seal around cat waste odor.
  2. Destroys - heavy duty odor eliminators plus Arm & Hammer Baking Soda destroy sealed in odors on contact.
  3. Ultra Low Dust - helps keep floors cleaner for a happy, healthy home.
  4. Low Tracking - unique formula helps keep litter in the box instead of on kitty's feet.
  5. Soft Touch - made with fine micro particles, your cat will love the softer feel.
  6. No Crumbly Clumps - plant derived particles help create rock solid clumps for easy scooping.
  7. 7 Days Guaranteed - experience the confidence of a 7 day odor free home --guaranteed!

Overview:
After using the little for a few days we did notice less mess after usage. The cats did not have too much on them when they left their box. That in itself would make this product worth it for me. I hate litter all over the floors.
The litter also clumped as said and there was no dust at all. The clumping made it easier to maintain the box on a daily basis.
As far as the 7 day odor free, it did work. Obviously the box has to be maintained daily but it did not need to be changed out for about 7 days. The odor free did work as claimed as long as it was used properly and as directed.

How often should you change your litter? Well that depends. If you have one cat or more than one. It also depends on how often they use the box. Some people chose to change litter daily, every few days, or weekly. Tierney changes it out every trash day, so twice a week, unless it really needs it sooner. She does however maintain it a few times a day. Scoop the litter box out as needed and make sure to replace the litter with new litter. The box should have about 3-4" of litter.
*Please dispose of litter in the trash and not down a drain of anykind.
