Kids Academy Educational apps for kids #review

We were given the opportunity to review three apps for kids from Kids Academy....the Kids Academy Learn to Read & Write Kid Puzzle app , the Kids Academy Preschool & Kindergarten Learning Games app, and the Kids Academy Preschool Math app.

I downloaded the three apps to the iPad the youngest two share, they are 4 and 6 years old. 

The installation was simple for each, of course. Once installed the kids were able to locate it by the colors and the famous Kids Academy Owl. They opened and were able to play each one pretty much on their own. All three apps offer great sounds and activities to keep kids entertained. The colors are bright and the pictures are clear. I was impressed with the friendliness of the characters and the detail with them. 

1. The Kids Academy Learn to Read & Write Puzzle app allows kids to basically learn their letters. The app takes the kids through a maze, which continues through letter tracing, and then being able to write the letters on their own. On each adventure, kids are acknowledged at every stage. The app is for left and right handed children. We are all right handed here but the kids do have friends and family that are left handed. I would definitely recommend this app for younger children that are starting out with their letters. My youngest daughter is 4 and she was able to make her way through pretty much the whole app without too much help from myself or the older siblings. She is a puzzle lover and this is her go to app over the 3 we reviewed. 
2. The Kids Academy Preschool & Kindergarten Learning Games app was next to try out. The app uses games to hopefully get children interested in reading, math, and writing. This app is recommended for children under 5 so when my 6 year old son was playing it he would get bored with the repetition. My 4 year old daughter enjoyed it and I could see from a few uses that she was starting to really retain some of the things she had seen throughout this app. 
3. The Kids Academy Preschool Math app was last on the list to review. My son loves math, Little miss does not fully understand it but she followed along the best she could. For the sake of this review, they both love the outdoors and have never really been able to chase fireflies so they liked this one alot. They kept trying to beat each other with filling up their jars. This app is also in the form of tracing so it helps with learning to read and write numbers.
