SANDING OVATIONS

This year the Sanding Ovations on Treasure Island will be held November 19th - November 23rd. We were there last year but we missed the actual competition. I did manage to get a few pics though.

The event will be held on the beach at 104th Avenue and Gulf Boulevard from 9 am - 10 pm. 

10 world class sand sculptors create amazing sculptures using only sand, water, and a crazy amount of imagination. Awards are presented on Saturday night. There will be live music and shows on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Reserved dining will be available in "The Turtle Nest," which is a three table cafe, created entirely from sand. There is also the beach food court and shopping available. 

Fireworks on Saturday night.
