Corinthians 13:4-8

1 Corinthians 13:4-8New International Version (NIV)

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.

I have been trying to be more invested, I guess is the correct word, in my marriage, in my relationship with my husband. I think this scripture is a great reminder for me to keep trying and to take my time. Granted, we have been married since 2009, but there have been some issues, nothing huge or crazy, but issues nonetheless, that have caused me to close off a little over the years.  I think I just needed a reset for this year and that is what I plan on doing.
